We inform our customers about our products that have been produced under environmentally and socially sustainable conditions. We also draw attention to our activities in the area of sustainability. In this way we give our customers the opportunity to get involved, together with us, with people and the environment through the buying decisions they make.
We use various communication channels and tools to inform our customers.
Communication through product seals
The seals of internationally recognised standards organisations signal to the purchaser that this Tchibo product was produced under responsible conditions. Our customers can orientate themselves with the help of these seals and decide to buy something that promotes sustainable development. This applies to the area of coffee just as much as to products made of cotton or wood.
Marketing and Corporate Communication
We draw attention to our environmentally and socially responsible products through informative brochures and leaflets, the Tchibo Magazine, in our shop employees’ direct contact with customers as well as through our websites and in television ads. We also use corporate communication instruments such as press conferences and press releases, particularly to give information about our cooperation projects.
