Worth studying even before you graduate: our exciting world of work.
Testing your skills during a Tchibo work placement will give you plenty to talk about: high-quality coffees, multifaceted product worlds, and the passion that keeps our customers inspired. Let yourself be inspired too: by fascinating insights while you’re still studying and exciting prospects after you graduate.
We discover your potential together
During an internship at Tchibo, you can apply what you have learned while studying in practice and get to know a successful multinational in all its facets. We give you the space to put your skills to the test and discover potential with us that may be decisive for your future career. What exactly you get out of your internship, however, is up to you – your commitment, your motivation, and your desire to make a difference and prove yourself as a true team player. Whether in exciting projects or varied tasks, we count on your ideas and initiative.
It goes without saying that we will reward you for your commitment: If your internship lasts up to three months, you will receive 800 euros as a bachelor student and 900 euros a month as a master student. If you stay with us for more than three months, you will receive a monthly salary of 1618 euros (1646 euros from 1st of January 2020) for your internship. Regardless of whether you take a voluntary or a mandatory internship.
Welcome to Tchibo’s vast variety
An internship is possible in nearly all of our departments - for example in the core areas of:
- Corporate management
- Human Resources
- Procurement / Purchasing
- Sales or
- Product management
But we also offer you the opportunity to work in such specialised areas as ‘packaging development and design’ or ‘location analysis and projects for Tchibo Shops’. If you convince us during your internship, we would like to stay in touch with you. We’re only too happy to look to the future with talent that fits with us and inspires us: whether you write your bachelor's, master's or diploma thesis with us, come back to us as a working student, or become a full-time member of our team as a trainee or via direct entry after earning your degree.
By the way, to see how happy our former interns are, take a look at the meinpraktikum.de evaluation platform. We are proud of achieving four out of a possible five stars. And we’re still working on the last one.
You have more than ‘just’ talent
We are looking for 3rd-semester students or higher who can spend 3 to 6 months with us. Disciplines we’re looking for are economics, business engineering, textiles and clothing, communications sciences, computer science and business informatics – but we also welcome other degree candidates. We are also glad if you have already completed internships, have spent some time abroad, or can show us that you have pursued extracurricular interests and activities.
Please note that Tchibo has committed not to hire graduates as interns. The only exception is the orientation year between your Bachelor and Master degree.
Our current internships are listed in the job centre.
