For all of our coffees, we use only the best beans from highlands Arabica coffee plants; and in developing our Non Food weekly theme worlds, from the very beginning we ensure high product functionality and durability. For us quality also means that we take responsibility for protecting our environment and improving the social conditions of our suppliers and partners. We make sure that Tchibo quality is increasingly produced in responsible ways. Accordingly, the idea of safeguarding and increasing quality is a central cornerstone of our success, which results in interesting tasks for people with a devotion to detail, at each one of our locations.
In our Consumer Goods Quality Management department alone, more than 120 employees worldwide work each day to ensure compliance with our strict specifications. In addition to our own extensive controls, independent certified testing laboratories test all our products for safety and hazardous substances. This is what our seal of quality ‘Tchibo Certified Merchandise’ (TCM) stands for: it guarantees that the products manufactured exclusively for Tchibo are of superior product quality, well-made from carefully selected materials.
Sustainability is also an integral part of our business strategy. The Corporate Responsibility team manages sustainable business development across our various departments and handles the communication of Tchibo’s sustainability activities and initiatives.
