As an employer, we consider it our responsibility to create an environment in which all our employees are treated with respect and without prejudice. This is also anchored in our corporate principles and formulated in the Code of Conduct, which is binding for all employees.
Code of Conduct
The key international conventions and principles are set out in the Tchibo Code of Conduct (CoC) and are binding for all Tchibo employees. The CoC forms the ethical "business basis" for all employees, regardless of their hierarchical level: Among other things, we are committed to unrestricted legal compliance and transparency as well as the continuous improvement of business processes from an environmental, social and societal perspective. The CoC also governs our dealings with business partners and customers. Under the CoC, all employees are prohibited from any form of corruption, granting or accepting advantages. The Code of Conduct is updated regularly and compliance with it is monitored.
Knowledge management on the topic of sustainability
Our aim is to anchor our commitment to sustainability at all levels of our company and to implement it in an integrated manner in all specialist areas. The Corporate Responsibility department is responsible for setting the overarching framework for strategic goals as well as coordination and management. The assumption of responsibility and know-how for sustainability issues in the specialist departments is an ongoing process and is being successively developed further. We provide regular information on the topic of sustainability on the Tchibo intranet. We also use internal events to draw attention to Tchibo's commitment to sustainability.
Diversity & Variety
Diversity is a key part of our corporate culture. In 2022, we founded the first Tchibo Diversity Team. Here, employees from various departments and professional levels are committed to informing employees and managers about diversity, openly addressing optimization potential and creating spaces for reflection and networking.
